How Coolant Hose and Thermostat Kits Work and Function
The main function of a coolant hose and thermostat kit is to regulate the flow of coolant to ensure that the engine runs at the proper temperature. The coolant hoses are responsible for delivering the coolant, while the thermostat controls the circulating path and flow of the coolant. When the engine temperature is low, the thermostat restricts the flow of coolant, allowing the engine to warm up quickly; when the ideal operating temperature is reached, the thermostat opens, allowing the coolant to flow freely, thus keeping the engine temperature stable.
