2) Cause of Failure
Trailer brake distribution valve exhaust valve (by the exhaust valve and exhaust valve seat) of the exhaust gap (exhaust valve after the opening of the exhaust valve and exhaust valve seat gap) is too small or almost no gap.
Explanation:If the inspection shows that only a trailer wheel brake release is slow, while the other wheels of the brake release are normal, this failure does not belong to the above fault. The cause of this failure may be the wheel brake brake clearance is too large or brake camshaft corrosion.
3) Troubleshooting
In the decomposition of the trailer brake distribution valve and clean all its parts, should focus on inspecting the exhaust valve seat whether there is obvious deformation and damage. If so, the exhaust valve seat should be replaced; if the exhaust valve seat is basically normal, the exhaust valve and the core rod can be added between a thick 0.2-0.5m flat gasket to increase the exhaust valve exhaust clearance.
When installing the trailer brake distribution valve, should check whether the increased thickness of the gasket is appropriate. Check method is: in the trailer brake distribution valve assembled together, the 4 fastening nuts gently screwed to the end (in the trailer brake distribution valve under the cover and the valve body between the remaining 0.5mm gap), and then use the force to the trailer brake distribution valve in the middle of the trailer brake gas chamber with the trailer braking valve connected to the mouth of the valve to blow air. If the gas can be blown out, the increased thickness of the gasket is too large, should be changed to a smaller thickness of the gasket. If the gas can not be blown out, the thickness of the gasket for the initial check is appropriate, and then in the four fastening nuts are tightened (so that there is no longer a gap between the lower cover and the valve body), and then use the same method of checking. At this point, such as some strong blowing can be blown out of the gas, the gasket thickness is appropriate; such as blowing with a large force can not be blown out of the gas or barely able to blow out of the gas some of the exhaust valve exhaust clearance is too small, but also to change the thickness of some of the larger gaskets.
